Privacy policy
This policy describes this website’s actual design. File processing runs in the visitor’s browser. The tool code does not upload the selected files, their names, their contents, or recognized text to a server.
Selected files and generated results
Files are read in browser memory after you select them. Generated outputs remain available in the current page until you clear the job, navigate away, or close the tab. Downloads and clipboard copies are controlled by you and may then be handled by your operating system or other applications. Folmio does not provide an online file history.
Website requests and hosting logs
Loading the site requests HTML, JavaScript, styles, fonts, configuration, and tool assets from the hosting origin. The hosting provider can receive an IP address, request time, requested page, user-agent information, and related request metadata under its own policies. Do not put private document information into the page URL. Actual retention depends on the deployed hosting configuration.
Recognition assets and local cache
OCR engine files and English, Hebrew, or Arabic recognition data are downloaded from this site when processing starts. Browsers may cache these assets and retain OCR language data locally. These are reusable program assets, not copies of your files. You can clear site data through your browser settings. There is no offline-use guarantee for the first visit.
Advertising and consent
Advertising is disabled in this release. Enabling it requires a reviewed implementation, operator approval, and the applicable consent setup. Ads are restricted to pages without file-processing controls. When enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, local identifiers, IP information, and request metadata for advertising according to the consent choices presented and their policies. The operator must configure the required certified consent-management message for relevant regions before enabling ads.
Optional audience measurement
Cloudflare Web Analytics is disabled in this release. A future reviewed and approved integration may enable it. Its cookie-free beacon can collect page and performance measurements on pages without file controls. It is not loaded on the tool routes, and the application does not send file data as analytics events. Cookie-free does not mean that no network request or device information is involved.
Contact and changes
A configured contact address opens your email application rather than submitting a web form. Your email provider and the recipient then handle the message; avoid attaching sensitive documents. The operator should update this policy when enabled integrations or hosting practices change. Last updated: 15 October 2026.
