An application or course submission can be easier to manage as one document instead of several attachments. The merger joins the pages of your PDFs in sequence. It works with the files you select locally and does not ask you to send a transcript, invoice, or identification document to a processing service.
How to use this tool
- Choose the PDFs to combine, up to twenty files.
- Move files into the desired sequence using drag or arrow controls.
- Create the merged PDF and verify its page order before sending it.
Put documents in the right order
The numbered list determines the final sequence. Drag a file to a different position or use the up and down buttons, which also work from the keyboard. All pages from the first file appear before all pages from the second. Rename confusing source files beforehand if it helps you distinguish them.
Keep page appearance in perspective
Pages retain their own sizes and orientations, so a portrait report can sit beside a landscape diagram. Merging does not standardize margins, rotate pages, or make scanned pages searchable. If you need only selected pages from one source, extract them with the splitter before combining the resulting files.
Review interactive and protected documents
Encrypted PDFs are rejected with a specific message; save an unlocked copy using software you trust if you are authorized to do so. Digital signatures will not remain valid after a document is rewritten. Interactive forms, attachments, bookmarks, and portfolio features are not guaranteed to survive as functional objects.
Treat the result as a new document
The merger is not a redaction tool and does not certify document authenticity. Read the merged output before sharing it, especially when the source contains annotations or forms. A combined limit of 2,000 pages prevents runaway jobs, while the file-size budget depends on whether a mobile viewport is in use.
Common questions
Can I mix paper sizes?
Yes. The output can contain differently sized pages. That may require a fit-to-page setting if you later print the whole document.
Does merging compress the PDFs?
No. This tool combines pages; it does not optimize scanned images or promise a smaller byte size. PDF compression is outside this release.
Can a password be entered here?
No. Password-protected inputs are not processed, and the tool does not try to bypass encryption or recover a password.
